1950s Kitchen at Basildon Park

Any fans of retro kitchenailia will love the 1950s kitchen at Basildon Park. The property is owned by the National Trust and is situated just outside Reading. Nestled amongst rooms containing various curios is a collection of authentic books, magazines and kitchen gadgets from the 50s.

Volunteers also bake original recipes from the era in the kitchen, which you can have a nibble of while you explore the different wares on display!  Basildon Park is well worth a visit, if you're in the area!
